Delete MapleStory Worlds Account

You can delete your MapleStory Worlds account by going to:

[Log into Official Website] > [Profile] > [Settings] > [Account Information] > [Delete Account]
[PC/Mobile App] > [Settings] > [Account] > [Delete Account]

A 7-day grace period is given before completely deleting the account. You can withdraw your account deletion request by logging into the app using the same account within the grace period.

Account Deletion Grace Period

- There is a 7-day grace period after deleting the account. The grace period cannot be adjusted.

- You can withdraw your account deletion request by logging into the official MapleStory Worlds website or the app using the same account within the grace period.

Restoring the Deleted Account

- Once your account is deleted, all the information about your MapleStory Worlds usage history, currency, etc. will be deleted as well.

- Cancellation/recovery is impossible once your account is deleted, so please choose account deletion carefully.

Additional Notes for Creators
Group Accounts

If your account belongs to a group, it will be handled as follows:

- Group Leader: Group leader authority will not be automatically delegated, and all group members will be withdrawn from the group.

- Group Member: You will be automatically withdrawn from the group.

Created Content

- Once you request account deletion, players will not be able to purchase any World avatar products sold by the account being deleted.

- When the account deletion process is completed, the products released by the deleted account will no longer be available for sale.

- However, your released content will not automatically be hidden. If you no longer want it to be available, change your product’s settings to ‘private’ beforehand.

Q How can I request a refund if the creator of the purchased World product has deleted its account?
A) If you purchased a World product that was sold 7 days before the creator’s request for account deletion, you can complete the refund by clicking the [Purchase Withdrawal] button that appears on the purchase receipt.

1. Visit the MapleStory Worlds official website and click the World Coin icon in the top right corner.

2. Click the “See Details” button by the order number.

3. Click the “Purchase Withdrawal” button.

4. The ‘Purchase Withdrawal’ button will be available for 7 days after the creator’s account is completely deleted.

Q I cannot purchase the World item. It says “Item purchase failed”!
A) When the creator’s account is within the 7-day grace period of the account deletion process, you cannot purchase any product sold in the creator’s World. If you attempt to purchase a product, the ‘Item Purchase Failed’ pop-up will appear.
